Lined with maple trees and overlooking the Long Island Sound, Longshore Club Park Golf Course is a short 18-hole course with beautiful, well-manicured fairways. Golfers find a fair amount of challenge at Longshore on the small, well-bunkered greens.
The course is operated by the Town of Westport and open to Westport residents and their guests. In 2007, the Town of Westport completed a $2.3 million remodeling of the golf course. The new course was designed by golf course architect, A. John Harvey, ASGCA, with The RBA Group.
The original Longshore golf course was built in the 1920's and was designed by Orin Edward Smith, a construction superintendent for famous golf course architect, Willie Park, Jr.

LONGSHORE GOLF ASSOCIATIONS
Longshore Men's Golf Association
The Longshore Men's Golf Association (LMGA), is a non-profit, voluntary association whose members participate in golf leagues, tournaments and other activities throughout the season. LGMA membership is open to all men golfers. Westport residency is not required.
Longshore Women's Golf Association
LWGA is a community of women playing 18 holes of golf every Tuesday morning with different women of different ages and varying levels of skill. Being in the LWGA provides an opportunity to meet other Westport residents. Activities and tournament results are reported in the local paper. Membership is open to all women golfers. Westport residency is not required.
Longshore Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association
Come out an play with the nine hole ladies group Thursday mornings.
